Catcha Rat Spring Trap

Heavy duty, catch and release galvanized steel spring traps are a humane and kind way to catch rats alive so you can relocate them.
A metal rod holds the door open and is also connected to the bait hook. When an animal moves the bait hook, the rod slips and the spring loaded door will close rapidly.
Crunchy peanut butter makes an excellent bait, but you can also stick seeds or nuts in the peanut butter. If the peanut butter isn’t sticking, try smearing the peanut butter onto a piece of cardboard and attach it to the hook. You may also try bird seed, sweet corn on the cob, apple, cake, blood and bone or poultry manure fertilizer.
