Coconut or coir fibre is made from the husk which surrounds the coconut fruit. The fibre has natural antibacterial properties which are also resistant to mould and decay.  Coconut bristles don’t discolour or flatten over time like synthetic fibres often do. Coconut is a semi firm to coarse fibre.
