BioPak Large Rectangular Takeaway Container Lids
There are three lid options for the BioPak large rectangular cane takeaway containers; 750 and 1000 ml. The lid options include cane fibre, PLA bioplastic and recycled PET.
BioPak cane fibre flat lids are strong and not affected by the moisture in food for many hours, even days. This product is made from bagasse which is a by-product of sugar production. It is sustainable, renewable and home compostable.
BioPak PLA clear flat or dome lids are made from Ingeo™ PLA a bio plastic made from plants. PLA is only suitable for cold food. Store below 34ᴼC. It is sustainable, renewable and industrially compostable.
BioPak RPET clear flat or dome lids are made from recycled PET plastic. RPET is suitable for hot food but won’t tolerate heat lamps or a bain-marie. RPET is recyclable and should be disposed of through kerbside recycling.
