Worm Buffet

Tumbleweed’s Worm Buffet can be placed in the centre of a garden bed. You simply lift the lid and place your vegetable scraps inside and replace the lid. Worms feed on your scraps and travel out into your garden to spread their cast, then return to the Worm Buffet to feed. When it fills up, just dig another hold and move the Worm Buffet. Don’t move it too far because you want your compost worms to be able to find it and move with it. The Worm Buffet works best in a raised garden bed where movement of your worm population is partially contained

Worms need their bodies to be moist so that they can breathe, so maintain moisture in your soil and your worms will stay in your garden.

The Worm Buffet can process up to 2 Kg of food waste per week. If you are installing multiple units, place them 1.5 metres apart.
