Lids For BioPak Square BioBoard Takeaway Containers

There are a three lid options for the BioPak square paper takeaway food containers.

BioPak PLA lids are made from plant-based bio-plastic. PLA is only suitable for cold food and must be stored below 34ᴼC. It is sustainable, renewable and industrially compostable.

BioPak RPET clear dome lids are made from recycled PET plastic. RPET is suitable for hot food but won’t tolerate heat lamps or a bain-marie. RPET is recyclable and should be disposed of through kerbside recycling.

BioPak Dome PP lids are made from polypropylene. PP will tolerate higher heat such as heat lamps and bain-maries but it is not sustainable or renewable. Polyproylene is not recyclable and it should be chosen only when other options can’t achieve the desired outcome.
