BioPak Coffee Cup Lids

There are a wide variety of lid options for the BioPak paper coffee cups

BioPak cane fibre lids are strong and not affected by the moisture for many hours, even days. This product is made from bagasse which is a by-product of sugar production. It is  sustainable, renewable and home compostable.

BioPak CPLA opaque lids are made from Ingeo™ PLA a bio plastic made from plants with the addition of chalk as a heat stabiliser. PLA is only suitable for cold food but with the addition of chalk it will tolerate hot food. It is sustainable, renewable and industrially compostable.

BioPak flat PS lids are made from plastic and available in either a flat or sipper style. It is not sustainable but it is recyclable and should be chosen only when other options can’t achieve the desired outcome. At Enviromart, we encourage customers to make more ecologically sound choices, such as using cane pulp or CPLA lids. In the long term, BioPak will be phasing out all single use plastics from their product range. Some plastic lids aren’t available in store and need to be pre-ordered.
