BioPak Lids for Rectangular Kraft Paper Lunchboxes 500-1000 mls

There are a wide variety of lid options for the BioPak kraft paper lunchboxes.

BioPak cane fibre flat lids are strong and not affected by the moisture in food for many hours, even days. This product is made from bagasse which is a by-product of sugar production. It is  sustainable, renewable and home compostable.

BioPak paper board flat lids coated with Ingeo™ PLA a bioplastic made from plants. It is sustainable, renewable and industrially compostable.

BioPak CPLA opaque flat lids are made from Ingeo™ PLA a bio plastic made from plants with the addition of chalk as a heat stabiliser. PLA is only suitable for cold food but with the addition of chalk it will tolerate hot food. It is sustainable, renewable and industrially compostable.

BioPak RPET clear flat or dome lids are made from recycled PET plastic. RPET is suitable for hot food but won’t tolerate heat lamps or a bain-marie. RPET is recyclable and should be disposed of through kerbside recycling.

BioPak flat PP lids are made from polypropylene. PP will tolerate higher heat such as heat lamps and bain-maries but it is not sustainable or renewable. Polyproylene is not recyclable and it should be chosen only when other options can’t achieve the desired outcome.
